  Holy Rosary Reaches Out
(With Caring Hands, Sharing Hands, Helping Hands, Praying Hands, Loving Hands)

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.”

Matthew 25: 35-36

Community service is an integral, interwoven aspect of academic, social and spiritual life at Holy Rosary Catholic School. Students participate in many community service activities individually, as a class, and school-wide, with significant family participation as well. From Pre-Kindergarten to 8th grade, students are outwardly focused, frequently including some type of community service in their class parties and holiday activities.

The following is a sampling of some of the recent community service projects undertaken by students, families, faculty and staff of Holy Rosary Catholic School.
  • Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for St. Vincent de Paul Society
  • Hope Bag Project for the Homeless
  • Adopted families through Catholic Charities
  • Annual Holy Childhood Association Lenten giving program
  • Bi-annual medical supply drive for Guatemalan mission trip
  • Toy drive for Catholic Charities
  • Book drive for overseas troops and a rehabilitation hospital
By caring for others outside the Holy Rosary classroom walls, students are able to do as God had instructed: “When you did this for others, you did this for Me.”
